We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
This year for Race for Education, the 7th grade class has decided to raise money for the middle school trip to Black Rock. This is an annual trip that the 7th and 8th grade students take to Black Rock Christian Retreat Center in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. At Black Rock, students gain access to important opportunities and experiences that they don't regularly have access to coming from an urban environment. Our middle school retreat is an opportunity for students to get out in nature and explore activities related to creek studies, archery, team building, astronomy, and nature. Black Rock tends to be a highlight of our students' middle school experience as it provides students with an opportunity to experience new things as well as to strengthen peer and teacher relationships.
Our trip to Black Rock has also proved to be an important component of our students' spiritual development as well. Students have the opportunity to hear from different speakers who are able to challenge and encourage students in their faith through worship, chapel, and small group devotions. Please consider making a donation so that we are able to continue to provide these valuable experiences to our middle school students!
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping us meet our goal for Logan Hope.
